I started working with glass in 2001 in Hamilton, MA. I was introduced to glass focusing on the artistic and sculptural aspects of the temperamental material. Glass is a material like no other it is a 2100 F liquid that one has to tame. I went on to attend Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire; there I studied Arts Management, with a focus in Glass Blowing, introducing me to the technical side of blowing glass and many other techniques. I studied and worked at many other schools and shops around the country. Overall I have had inspirational and kind teachers who have shared so much.

My work is playful, colorful, spiritual, dark, and whatever other adjectives come to mind when you see a finished piece. For me it is mostly playful because I am having fun during the process. I may appear serious when I am working, but there is always smiles. It takes a team of people to work with glass; the aspect of teamwork creates what I like to call “the dance of glass.” Working with glass there is endless potential for improvement keeping it forever rewarding. When people see my work I like to leave them pondering with a smile on their face “how did he do that?”
