Jim Plesh started drawing and painting as a youngster and has been on a creative journey ever since. Graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with additional studies at the Cleveland Art Institute and Cooper School of Art Jim's career took him to Cleveland, Chicago and New England as creative director of several major publishers before founding Plesh Creative Group, Inc., one of the leading design firms in the paper products industry. He has travelled and worked with creative types worldwide, from painters and poets to photographers and graphic designers on multitudes of creative projects.Throughout his career he continued to pursue his love of fine art. His paintings have evolved from traditional representational to impressionistic and most recently contemporary expressionistic. When asked how long a painting may have taken to create Jim most likely will reply “my whole life”. And the journey continues.
